Non School Days


Registration procedure for the upcoming 2017-2018 School Year:
The last couple of years registration for all non school days took place on the first day of school. This caused non school days to fill months beforehand and families being put on waiting lists. To hopefully avoid that issue this year, we are planning to open registration a month prior to each non school day. We will open registration for MEA (October 19 & 20) the week of September 18th. We will send out email reminders to families, signs and notices will be posted on site and online (websites & Facebook) and a text alert will be sent out. Families will have at least 3 weeks to register for an upcoming non school day at our Hoover and Rosa Parks sites or until the max number of registrations is reached. The deadline to register will be approximately 1 week prior to the non school days and late registrations will only be accepted if space is available. Only care cancelled prior to these deadline dates will receive a refund for fees paid.

*ACES Non School Day care is offered at our Hoover Elementary and Rosa Parks Elementary locations.


ACES will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
Thanksgiving: November 23 & 24
Christmas: December 25 & 26
New Years: January 1 & 2
Easter:  March 30
Memorial Day: May 28


Non School Day Fees:
Full Day Care - $30/day 1st child, $25/day additional siblings
Half Day Care - $18/day per child
(AM Care: 6:30am-12:30pm, PM Care: 12:00pm - 6:00pm)

The registration deadline will be approximately 1 week prior to the non school day. Registrations received after the deadline will only be accepted if space is available and families will be charged at the drop in rate.  Refunds will not be given for cancellations made after the deadline or if your child is sick and does not attend. 


Drop-in Care Fees:
Full Day Care - $38.00/day per child
Half Day Care - $25.00/day per child
